REIKI CONVERSATIONS: Awaken Your Intuition with Reiki, Part 5 or 5
How Reiki Helps You Trust and Live by Your Inner Guidance
Living with Reiki-Empowered Intuition Every Day
“Reiki reconnects you with the living intelligence of the universe. Intuition is the way consciousness naturally speaks when you listen.”
Living by intuition is natural, and Reiki makes it practical. Through the five weeks of our Awakening Your Intuition with Reiki series, we explored how Reiki reveals our intuitive nature, clarifies our imagination, heals blocks to inner knowing, supports daily practice, and finally integrates everything into a way of life.
When Reiki and intuition work together, the extraordinary becomes part of everyday reality. The same light that flows through your hands in a Reiki session flows through your thoughts, instincts, and creative ideas. It shows up when you decide what to do next, how to speak with kindness, or which direction to take when life feels uncertain.
Reiki reconnects you with the living intelligence of the universe. It reminds you that intuition is the way consciousness naturally speaks when you listen.
Awakening Authentic Intellect
An aspect of consciousness called your authentic intellect reveals your inner capacity to perceive clearly and think wisely. Reiki awakens this quality by revealing your mind’s natural coherence. Sometimes authentic intellect has been hidden beneath layers of overthinking, social conditioning, or emotional injury. Reiki shines from the inside out to reveal what’s already there.
Reiki heals the parts of us that were ignored, criticized, or disbelieved when we expressed inner truth as children. It restores the authority of our inner voice, the same voice that once knew how to listen to guidance. As Reiki flows, it brings your heart, mind, and gut into conversation again, and their unity becomes your guidance.
Simple Ways to Let Reiki Organize the Mind:
- Place your hands for self-Reiki and invite the energy to organize your thoughts.
 - Let CKR stabilize your foundation, SHK harmonize emotions and thinking, and HSZSN expand perspective across time.
 - Feel your awareness settle into your body.
 - Journal after your session to capture guidance
 - Act on one small idea and observe what happens.

Over time, you will begin to recognize the feeling of your own truth. It is steady, compassionate, and practical. This is your authentic intellect: intelligence guided by love.
The Symbols and Intuitive Clarity
Every Reiki symbol can support intuitive development, yet three often stand out:
CKR (Power): Grounds energy, dissolves resistance, and strengthens your inner awareness. It’s powerful before conversations, decisions, or Reiki sessions.
SHK (Mental/Emotional): Aligns your thoughts and feelings so that your authentic intellect can speak clearly. It refines communication and helps you choose words that are both kind and accurate.
HSZSN (Distance / Divine Heart): Opens the Bridge of Light that connects your human mind to your divine consciousness. Across timelines, memories, and ancestral layers, this symbol helps the heart remember its original clarity.
HF establishes your trust and Gnosa activates your wisdom and articulation. Together, they create a calm, spacious, and precise energy field, which is the ideal state for intuitive listening.
Intuitive Impressions for Others: Ethics and Discernment
Reiki includes discernment within its frequency. When impressions arise during sessions, you can ask Reiki directly:
- Is this real?
 - Is this for me to act on?
 - Is this for me to share?
 - Is what I am going to share within the scope of my practice?

Let Reiki guide the process. You are never responsible to receive intuitive impressions. It does not have to be part of your Reiki practice. If you do receive intuitive impressions, you are never responsible to share them if you are uncomfortable or if you feel it would be disturbing for the client. Our first rule is, never scare the client!
Always stay within the scope of your practice. Our code of ethics states that we do not diagnose medical or mental health conditions. Trust that Reiki will guide the client to what they need and is not dependent on you receiving or sharing your impressions.
If you are going to share your impressions, ask Reiki to guide your words, ask for language that is gentle, clear, and non-directive. Unless you are a therapist, do not give advice. If silence is best, trust Reiki to complete the healing without your comments..
Consent and context matter. In group settings, such as a public Reiki share, it is advisable to only work with Reiki energy, without activating other modalities or offering unsolicited impressions. In private sessions, where intention and permission are established, intuition may become part of the dialogue. Talk to your client in advance about it. This clarity keeps the work compassionate and safe for the client and you. Discernment is an intrinsic quality within Reiki itself and an important quality for a Reiki practitioner.
Sensitivity, Protection, and the Luminous Filter
Create an energetic filter by placing Reiki around you. By surrounding yourself with the symbols, above, below, around, and within, Reiki establishes an energy field that regulates external energies. This field helps manage and stabilize your empathy so you can “observe rather than absorb” the feelings of others and the world around you.
Many Reiki people are naturally empathic. The Reiki filter helps you to listen and “hear without taking on.” Activate this filter wherever you find yourself picking up the sensitivities of others. It can help you discern what is theirs and what is yours. You can activate the filter “on the fly,” by drawing the symbols, through self-Reiki, or any other way you need it in any moment. Reiki will activate it for you.
Imagination, Clair Senses, and Extraordinary Reality
“When our imagination returns, we remember our own spirit and brilliance,
as if a veil has been removed that was hiding our light.”
Reiki harmonizes beautifully with shamanic language, imagination, and the clair senses: seeing, hearing, feeling, and knowing. In “Reiki Heals the Imagination" article, we learn that imagination is not “what we use to make things up.” It is a sense, a bridge between the physical and spiritual worlds. Reiki heals the collective misunderstanding that imagination is unreal, returning us to what we call “the age of childlike wonder.”
The Distance symbol travels through time to heal the original cause of imagination’s injury, often the moment in childhood when wonder was dismissed or ridiculed. Reiki returns your imagination as a sacred sense, connected to your intuition and perception.
When your imagination is healed, the world brightens. You can communicate with the natural world, recognize synchronicity, and participate consciously in extraordinary reality, the realm where spirit and nature meet. This space is where intuition thrives. As “Reiki Heals the Imagination” states, “Reiki sends the age of wonder through all of the ages where the person lost their imagination and then merges the information together with the person today.”
Relationship with Guides, Nature, and the Unseen
Reiki reveals that all of creation is conscious and responsive. Through the Bridge of Light, practitioners often experience connection and relationships with spiritual guides, ancestors, and nature allies. The message may come as a feeling, a symbol, a memory, or a quiet knowing. Reiki holds the container so meaning can unfold safely and without ego.
Colleen often speaks of her ongoing relationship with the “God Trees” on Mount Kurama, ancient beings that continue to teach about light and humility. Through Reiki, that same sacred communication becomes available wherever you are, whether you’re in a forest, by water, or in the stillness of your own heart.
Navigating Endings, Beginnings, and Transitions
We are all moving through cycles of endings and beginnings. Reiki brings steadiness to the space between. When you invite the symbols, you welcome an intelligence that reveals the next clear idea and the next doable step.
Sometimes the message is deeply personal: a reminder to rest or deepen your practice. Other times it generates ideas, goals and action. Reiki guides you to act from stability rather than urgency.
Intuition is about alignment. Reiki keeps your awareness tuned to the energy of what is true right now so that each decision arises naturally from that truth.
Daily Questions for Intuitive Living
Bring these questions into your self-Reiki or journaling:
- What is my authentic intention right now?
 - What am I ready to release, and what am I ready to bring in?
 - Which idea is lighting up, and what is the first practical step?
 - Is this guidance for me, for another, or for Reiki to hold in silence?
 - How can I share with compassion, consent, and clarity?

These questions keep intuition grounded in real life: relationships, work, creativity, and service.
Why Intuitive Reiki Training Matters
People often describe experiences like these:
- Wondering if intuitive guidance is real or imagined.
 - Feeling highly sensitive and seeking balance.
 - Wanting to connect with guides, ancestors, or nature ethically.
 - Desiring clear, practical decision-making in daily and professional life.
 - Reiki meets each desire with tangible support: a field of safety, symbols that organize awareness, and guided Reiki journeys that transform insight into action.

Beginners discover that intuition is heightened and accessible. Advanced practitioners refine discernment, ethics, language and skill with their intuition.
For example, early in Colleen’s practice, a vivid story arose during a client session, complete with past-life imagery. Unsure whether to share, she asked Reiki for discernment and the right words. When she finally spoke, the client immediately recognized its truth. Even though Colleen felt insecure about sharing, she trusted Reiki. The power of the moment was in the process: asking, listening, deciding, and speaking with care. Reiki held the energy of truth and compassion so the sharing of the impression could occur safely.
